Market Response of Global Beauty Conglomerates:Evidence from Estée Lauder Companies

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between New York Fashion Week (NYFW) and Estée Lauder Companies, focusing on NYFW's position as a major global fashion event and its influence on fashion trends. It analyzes the fashion week ecosystem's key stakeholders, including Estée Lauder's role in backstage operations through their professional makeup products and services. The research traces NYFW's evolution from World War II to present day and investigates how NYFW participation impacts Estée Lauder's stock performance and potential earnings.
